उदस्तम्भीत्समिधा नाकमृष्वोऽग्निर्भवन्नुत्तमो रोचनानाम् । यदी भृगुभ्यः परि मातरिश्वा गुहा सन्तं हव्यवाहं समीधे ॥

Transliteration

úd astambhīt samídhā nā́kam ṛ́ṣvo 'gnír bhávann uttamó rocanā́nām | yadī́ bhṛ́gubhyaḥ pári mātáriśvā guhā́ sántaṃ havyavā́haṃ samī́dhe ||

Translation

薪によって、彼は天を支え立てた。高くそびえるアグニは、光輝の諸界のうち最上となる。マータリシュヴァンがブリグ族（Bhṛgu）のために、秘奥に隠れていた供物運搬者（havyavāha）を燃え立たせたとき。
