आ देवानामभवः केतुरग्ने मन्द्रो विश्वानि काव्यानि विद्वान् । प्रति मर्ताँ अवासयो दमूना अनु देवान्रथिरो यासि साधन् ॥

ā devānām abhavaḥ ketúr agne mandró viśvā́ni kā́vyāni vidvā́n | práti martā́m̐ avāsayo damūnā́ ánu devā́n rathiró yāsi sā́dhan ||

アグニよ、汝は神々の標の火、光輝く徴となった。力において歓喜し、あらゆる霊感の言葉と秘奥の智慧(カーヴィヤ)を知る者よ。汝は人々を神聖なる住処へと向けさせ、確かな御者として神々に従い行き、業を成就する。
