Sukta 2.27
माहं मघोनो वरुण प्रियस्य भूरिदाव्न आ विदं शूनमापेः । मा रायो राजन्त्सुयमादव स्थां बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
mā́haṃ maghóno varuṇa priyásya bhūrídā́vna ā́ vidam śū́nam āpéḥ | mā́ rāyó rājan suyámād áva sthāṃ bṛhád vadema vidáthe suvī́rāḥ ||
ヴァルナ（Varuṇa）よ、豊かに施す与え手の、愛しき恩寵から、われが離れ落ちませんように。水（アーパス）より来たる広大な歓びと澄明を、われが得ますように。王よ、汝の善き導きと法（ṛta）による霊的富の充溢が、下へと滑り落ちて失われませんように。集会（ヴィダタ）において、われらが「ブリハト（Bṛhat＝広大）」を語り、善き勇者としてあらんことを。
