तेजिष्ठया तपनी रक्षसस्तप ये त्वा निदे दधिरे दृष्टवीर्यम् । आविस्तत्कृष्व यदसत्त उक्थ्यं बृहस्पते वि परिरापो अर्दय ॥

téjiṣṭhayā tapanī́ rakṣásaḥ tapa yé tvā nidé dadhiré dṛṣṭávīryam | āvís tát kṛṣva yád ásat te ukthyàm bṛ́haspate ví parirā́po ardaya ||

汝の最も鋭く燃ゆる熱をもって、羅刹(Rākṣasas)の闇の力を灼け――汝の英雄の威力が明らかなのに、なお汝を非難に置く者どもを。ブリハスパティ(Bṛhaspati)よ、われらのうちに未だ現れざりしものを顕わにせよ。取り巻く襲撃を打ち砕き、遠く追い払え。
