सृजो महीरिन्द्र या अपिन्वः परिष्ठिता अहिना शूर पूर्वीः । अमर्त्यं चिद्दासं मन्यमानमवाभिनदुक्थैर्वावृधानः ॥
Transliteration
sṛjó mahī́r indra yā́ ápinvaḥ pári-sthitā́ áhinā śūra pūrvī́ḥ | ámartyam cid dāsáṃ mányamānam ávā́bhinad ukthaír vāvṛdhā́naḥ ||
Translation
インドラよ、汝は、古より閉じ込められていた広大なる（諸水／諸力）を解き放った。勇士よ、それらは蛇（アヒ）により囲い込まれていた。みずから不死と思いなす僕でさえ、汝は打ち倒した。讃歌によって増し育ちながら、汝は頌歌をもって障碍を打ち砕く。
