अव सृज पुनरग्ने पितृभ्यो यस्त आहुतश्चरति स्वधाभिः । आयुर्वसान उप वेतु शेषः सं गच्छतां तन्वा जातवेदः ॥
Transliteration
áva sṛja púnaḥ agne pitṛ́bhyo yás ta ā́hutaś cárati svadhā́bhiḥ | ā́yur vásāna úpa vetu śéṣaḥ sáṃ gacchatāṃ tanvā́ jā́tavedas ||
Translation
アグニ（Agni）よ、彼を再び放て、下へ、そして先へ、祖霊（ピトリ）たちのもとへ——汝に供えられ、スヴァダー（svadhā）の力のうちを行く者を。残れる生命の力が、再び衣をまとうように近づかんことを。身体のまとまりが調和して結ばれよ、ジャータヴェーダス（Jātavedas）よ。
