तेऽरुणेभिर्वरमा पिशङ्गैः शुभे कं यान्ति रथतूर्भिरश्वैः । रुक्मो न चित्रः स्वधितीवान्पव्या रथस्य जङ्घनन्त भूम ॥
Transliteration
té ’ruṇébhir váramā́ piśáṅgaiḥ śubhé káṃ yānti rathatū́rbhir áśvaiḥ | rukmó ná citráḥ svadhítīvān pavyā́ ráthasya jaṅghananta bhū́ma ||
Translation
彼らは赤みと黄褐の力をもって、麗しき目標へと進む。車の突進において迅速な馬を、車の疾駆とともに駆る。黄金の飾りのように明るく、きらめき、また斧を携える者のように断ち割る力を具え――車の輪の輻（ふく）は大地を打ち、抗うものを踏み鎮める。
