वीळु चिद्दृळ्हा पितरो न उक्थैरद्रिं रुजन्नङ्गिरसो रवेण । चक्रुर्दिवो बृहतो गातुमस्मे अहः स्वर्विविदुः केतुमुस्राः ॥
Transliteration
vīḷú cid dṛḷhā́ pitaro na uktháir ádrim rujánn áṅgirasaḥ ravéṇa | cakrúr divó bṛható gātúm asmè áhaḥ svàr vivíduḥ ketúm usrā́ḥ
Translation
堅く閉ざされたものさえ、われらの父祖は讃歌（ウクタ）によってこじ開けた——アンギラサたちは叫び声で岩を砕いた。彼らはわれらのために広大なる天への道を作り、昼と、太陽の光輝の徴（しるし）と、きらめく光線とを見いだした。
