मा नो अग्ने सख्या पित्र्याणि प्र मर्षिष्ठा अभि विदुष्कविः सन् । नभो न रूपं जरिमा मिनाति पुरा तस्या अभिशस्तेरधीहि ॥
Transliteration
mā́ no agne sakhyā́ pitryā́ṇi prá marṣiṣṭhā abhí vidúṣ kavíḥ sán | nábho ná rūpáṃ jarimā́ mināti purā́ tasyā abhíśaster ádhīhi ||
Translation
アグニよ、われらの祖伝の友誼をないがしろにするな。知る聖見者（kavi）として、われらに全き注意を向けよ。老いが天空の姿を損なわぬように、消耗がわれらを減じぬように。敵意ある言葉の襲いに先立ち、われらの上に立って守護せよ。
