Transliteration

ní tvām agne mánuḥ dadhé jyótir jánāya śáśvate | dī́detha kaṇva ṛtá-jāta ukṣitó yáṃ namasyánti kŕ̥ṣṭayaḥ ||

Translation

マヌ（Manu）は汝を据えた、アグニよ、民のための永遠の光として。汝は燃え輝く、カṇヴァ（Kaṇva）よ、リタ（Ṛta、宇宙の正序）より生まれ、養われて強き者――人の群れ（kṛṣṭi）は汝に伏して礼拝する。
