सदसस्पतिमद्भुतं प्रियमिन्द्रस्य काम्यम् । सनिं मेधामयासिषम् ॥

sádasaspátim ádbhutaṃ priyám índrasya kā́myam | saníṃ medhā́m ayāsiṣam ||

わたしは、驚異なる集会の主サダサスパティ(Sadasaspati)を勝ち得ようと求めた。インドラに愛され、望ましきその主が、われらにメーダー(medhā)—真理を保ち秩序づける、形づくられた知性—の獲得を授けたまわんことを。
