matsyapā́yi te máhaḥ pā́trasyeva harivo matsaró mádaḥ | vṛ́ṣā te vṛ́ṣṇa índur vājī sahasra-sā́tamaḥ ||
Translation
黄褐の馬を駆るインドラよ、汝は大いなる昂揚を、満ちあふれる器より飲むがごとく飲み干した。牡牛たる汝のために、この圧搾されたインドゥ（ソーマ）は強く勝利し、千の勝利をもたらす力となる――内なる征服のために力を増し広げるソーマの衝動として。
