यद्ध त्यन्मित्रावरुणावृतादध्याददाथे अनृतं स्वेन मन्युना दक्षस्य स्वेन मन्युना । युवोरित्थाधि सद्मस्वपश्याम हिरण्ययम् । धीभिश्चन मनसा स्वेभिरक्षभिः सोमस्य स्वेभिरक्षभिः ॥
yád dha tyán mitrā́varuṇāv ṛtā́d ádhy ā́dadāthe anṛ́tam svéna manyúnā dákṣasya svéna manyúnā | yuvór itthā́dhi sádmasv ápaśyāma hiraṇyáyam | dhī́bhiś caná mánasā svébhir ákṣabhiḥ sómasya svébhir ákṣabhiḥ ||
そのとき、ミトラよ、ヴァルナよ、汝らは真理（ṛta）より取り上げて定め、己が熱情によって――ダクシャ（Dakṣa）の熱情によって――不真（anṛta）を取り除き、退けた。かくて汝らの住処（sadman）において、われらは金色の輝きを見た。諸々の霊感（dhī）と心（manas）と、われら自身の見る力（akṣa）と、ソーマ（Soma）自身の見る力とによって。
