या गोमतीरुषसः सर्ववीरा व्युच्छन्ति दाशुषे मर्त्याय । वायोरिव सूनृतानामुदर्के ता अश्वदा अश्नवत्सोमसुत्वा ॥
Transliteration
yā́ gómātīr uṣásaḥ sárvavīrā vyùcchanti dāśúṣe mártyāya | vā́yor iva sūnṛ́tānām udarké tā́ aśvadā́ aśnavat sómasutvā ||
Translation
施しをなす人の子のために輝き出づるその曙（Uṣas）たち——光に富み（gomatī）、あらゆる勇力を具え（sarvavīrā）。風神ヴァーユ（Vāyu）の、うち上がる奔流のごとき広やかな善き言葉（sūnṛtā）のように。ソーマを搾ること（Soma-sutva）によって、彼がそれらに到達せんことを——迅き力のエネルギーを授ける彼女らに。
