मन्थराप्रेरणा—वरद्वय-स्मरणं च
Manthara’s Provocation and the Recalling of Two Boons
अपवाह्य त्वया देवि सङ्ग्रामान्नष्टचेतनः।तत्रापि विक्षतश्शस्त्रैः पतिस्ते रक्षितस्त्वया।।।।
apavāhya tvayā devi saṅgrāmān naṣṭacetanaḥ | tatrāpi vikṣataḥ śastraiḥ patis te rakṣitas tvayā ||
王妃よ、戦場で夫君が意識を失ったとき、そなたは彼を戦いのただ中から運び去り、守り抜いた。さらにその場でも、武器に傷つけられた夫君は、そなたによって救われた。
There in that great battle the mighty-armed king Dasaratha lay wounded with weapons (used) by the asuras.
Dharma is expressed as protective care and loyalty in crisis; saving a life at personal risk becomes a moral ground for rightful gratitude.
Mantharā recalls how Kaikeyī rescued Daśaratha from the battlefield when he was unconscious and wounded.
Courageous devotion and readiness to protect—acting decisively to preserve life.
