इदं हि वृत्तमुचितं कुलस्यास्य सनातनम्।दानं दीक्षा च यज्ञेषु तनुत्यागो मृधेषु च।।।।
idaṁ hi vṛttam ucitaṁ kulasyāsya sanātanam |
dānaṁ dīkṣā ca yajñeṣu tanutyāgo mṛdheṣu ca ||
まことにこれは、汝の一族にふさわしき古来のしきたり――布施の徳、祭祀(ヤジュニャ)における聖なる受戒(ディークシャー)、そして戦場にて身命を捧げること。
