Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
तं देव देवोपममात्मजं तेसर्वस्य लोकस्य हिते निविष्टम्।हिताय नः क्षिप्रमुदारजुष्टंमुदाऽभषेक्तुं वरद त्वमर्हसि।।2.2.54।।
taṃ deva devopamam ātmajaṃ te sarvasya lokasya hite niviṣṭam | hitāya naḥ kṣipram udārajuṣṭaṃ mudā ’bhiṣektuṃ varada tvam arhasi || 2.2.54 ||
恩寵を授ける御方よ、あなたは喜びをもって速やかに、御子を世の人々の中の神にも比すべき者として、全世界の安寧に身を捧げ高徳を備えたその御子を、我らのために王太子として灌頂し、立てたまうべきです。
