AV 6.130は、アタルヴァ系の簡潔な恋愛呪であり、アプサラスと諸神を介してスマラ(カーマ)を「遣わし」、望む相手を恋い病ませ、落ち着きを失わせ、術者への焦がれる思慕で燃え立たせる。讃歌は魅惑・服従(vaśīkaraṇa)と同時に競争相手の排除をも図り、標的に術者のみを想起させ、他の者をすべて忘れよと命じる。その力は神々の聖なる差遣として枠づけられ、神々がスマラを駆り立て、マルットとアグニが標的の内なる狂熱と灼熱をいっそう強める。

स्मरः। र॒थ॒जितां॑ राथजिते॒यीना॑मप्स॒रसा॑म॒यं स्म॒रः । देवाः॒ प्र हि॑णुत स्म॒रम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु

スモラ(Smara)。これはアプサラス(Apsaras)たちのスモラ、ラタジター(Rathajitā)たちの、ラタジテイー(Rathajiteyī)たちのスモラ。神々よ、スモラを駆り立てよ。かの者が我に従って恋い焦がれ、思いに焼かれよ。

अ॒सौ मे॑ स्मरता॒दिति॑ प्रि॒यो मे॑ स्मरता॒दिति॑ । देवाः॒ प्र हि॑णुत स्म॒रम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु

「かの者が我を想え」と、かく。「我が愛しき者が我を想え」と、かく。神々よ、スモラ(Smara)を駆り立てよ。かの者が我に従って恋い焦がれよ。

यथा॒ मम॒ स्मरा॑द॒सौ नामुष्या॒हं क॒दा च॒न। देवाः॒ प्र हि॑णुत स्म॒रम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु

かの者が我を想え――そして、あの別の者を決して想うな、いかなる時にも。神々よ、スーマラ(Smara)を駆り立てよ;かの者が我に焦がれ、我を慕って嘆け。

उन्मा॑दयत मरुत॒ उद॑न्तरिक्ष मादय । अग्न॒ उन्मा॑दया॒ त्वम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु

彼を狂わせよ、マルット(Maruts)よ;中空(アンタリクシャ)を酔わせよ。アグニ(Agni)よ、汝も彼を狂わせよ;かの者が我に焦がれよ。
