सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मीननु॒ याः स॒ञ्चर॑न्ति॒ मरी॑चीर्वा॒ या अ॑नुस॒ञ्चर॑न्ति । यासा॑मृष॒भो दू॑र॒तो वा॒जिनी॑वान्त्स॒द्यः सर्वाँन् लो॒कान् प॒र्यैति॒ रक्ष॑न्। स न॒ ऐतु॒ होम॑मि॒मं जु॑षा॒णो॒३ऽन्तरि॑क्षेण स॒ह वा॒जिनी॑वान्
sū́ryasya raśmī́n ánu yā́ḥ sañcáranti marī́cīr vā yā́ anusañcáranti | yā́sām ṛṣabhó dūrató vājinī́vān sadyáḥ sárvāṃl lokā́n paryéti rákṣan | sá no étu hómaṃ imáṃ juṣāṇó ’ntárikṣeṇa sahá vājinī́vān ||
They who along the Sun’s rays roam, or as his gleams attendant roam; whose Bull, victorious from afar, straightway encompasseth all worlds, guarding—let him come to us, accepting this oblation, the victorious one, together with the mid-air’s path.
太陽の光線に沿って行く者たち、またその光輝(マリーチ)に随って行く者たち;その牡牛(ṛṣabha)は遠くより勝利し、ただちに万界を巡り、守護する――その勝利者よ、この供物を喜んで受け取り、われらのもとへ来たれ。馳駆する者(vājinīvan)よ、中空(アンタリクシャ)の道とともに。
