Soma Pavamāna (Indu/Indavaḥ)
Is mantra mein Soma ko bulaya ja raha hai jo pavitra ho ke aage badh raha hai. Ye wo Soma hai jo pees ke banaya gaya aur ab jaldi se chal raha hai. Soma sabko khana aur acchi soch deta hai jo yajna karte hain. Isme Soma se yeh bhi manga gaya hai ki wo dushman taakat ko khatam kare. Jo log rasta rokte hain aur accha nahi chahte unko Soma door kare. Aakhri mein yeh prayer hai ki Soma ki taakat humein surakshit rakhe.
Soma ki boondein aage badhein, dhal ke niklein, aasmaan mein chamkein. Hamari ichchha aur khana fail jaye. Jo log dete nahi woh khatm ho jayein jaise ajnabi log. Hamari sochein jeet kar kuchh paa lein.
Mantra 2
Som ras ke boondein hamare liye daudein. Yeh boondein aise dhan deti hain jisse hum tez ghode ko jod sakte hain.
Apna hi rukna dushman ban jata hai. Doosron ka rukna bhed ki tarah khatarnaak hai. Jaise pyaas sookhi zameen par failti hai, waise hi yeh buri taakein fail jati hain. Som, jab tu khud ko saaf karta hai, to in par maar.
Mantra 5
Indu, pehli chamak tere ras ko nichodti hai. Yeh ras accha hai aur sundar hai. Tu apni taakat dikha. Teri khushi hamare paas aaye.
The deity is Soma Pavamāna—Soma as the purified, filtered, flowing draught (Indu/Indavaḥ) that brings vitality, inspiration, and protective power.
It asks Soma to spread nourishment and right impulses, help inspired thought win gains, and destroy obstructive forces like withholding, hostility, and predatory harm.
Because Soma’s physical filtering in the ritual symbolizes a clarifying power: as Soma becomes pure, the mind and community are prayed to become strong, prosperous, and protected from inner and outer negativity.
