आ वो मक्षू तनाय कं रुद्रा अवो वृणीमहे । गन्ता नूनं नोऽवसा यथा पुरेत्था कण्वाय बिभ्युषे ॥
Transliteration
ā́ vo makṣū́ tánāya káṃ rudrā́ ávo vṛṇīmahe | gántā nū́naṃ no'vásā yáthā purétthā kaṇvā́ya bibhyúṣe ||
Translation
હે રુદ્રો, અમે ત્વરિતપણે અમારા તનય—સંતાન અને સ્વ-વિકાસ માટે તમારું અવ (રક્ષણ) પસંદ કરીએ છીએ. હવે જ અમારી પાસે તમારી આશ્રય-શક્તિ સાથે આવો, જેમ પહેલાં એ જ રીતે ભયભીત કણ્વ માટે તમે આવ્યા હતા.
