Sukta 1.39
नहि वः शत्रुर्विविदे अधि द्यवि न भूम्यां रिशादसः । युष्माकमस्तु तविषी तना युजा रुद्रासो नू चिदाधृषे ॥
náhi vaḥ śátrur vividé ádhi dyávi ná bhū́myāṃ riśādasaḥ | yuṣmā́kam astu táviṣī tánā yujā́ rudrāso nū́ cid ā́dhṛṣe ||
હે રિશાદસો (હાનિકારકને નાશ કરનારાઓ), તમારો કોઈ શત્રુ તમને શોધી શક્યો નથી—ન તો દ્યૌમાં, ન તો ભૂમિ પર. તમારી તવિષી (પરાક્રમશક્તિ) યોગમાં, અમારા તનમાં (અસ્તિત્વમાં) અમારી સાથે જોડાય; હે રુદ્રો, અત્યારે પણ અમે અધીર્ષ્ય—અપરાજેય રહીએ.
