Sukta 1.39
नहि वः शत्रुर्विविदे अधि द्यवि न भूम्यां रिशादसः । युष्माकमस्तु तविषी तना युजा रुद्रासो नू चिदाधृषे ॥
náhi vaḥ śátrur vividé ádhi dyávi ná bhū́myāṃ riśādasaḥ | yuṣmā́kam astu táviṣī tánā yujā́ rudrāso nū́ cid ā́dhṛṣe ||
हे रिशादस (हानि-नाशक) मरुतो! न तो द्युलोक में, न पृथ्वी पर—कोई शत्रु तुम्हें पा सका। तुम्हारी वही तविषी (प्रचण्ड शक्ति) हमारे लिए हो, हमारे अस्तित्व के युग्मन में; हे रुद्रगण! अभी भी हम अ-धृष्य (अपराजेय) रहें।
