Agni

Este breve himno a Agni es una plegaria de protección: el poeta pide a Agni que sea la presencia más cercana (antama) y un refugio firme (varūthya) para los adoradores. Se invoca a Agni para que despierte, oiga el llamado, ensanche su poder de custodia y rescate a la comunidad de la intención hostil. El sukta culmina solicitando la gracia de Agni y un bienestar propicio y auspicioso para los compañeros dedicados a la labor sagrada.
