प्राग्नये विश्वशुचे धियंधेऽसुरघ्ने मन्म धीतिं भरध्वम् । भरे हविर्न बर्हिषि प्रीणानो वैश्वानराय यतये मतीनाम् ॥

Transliteration

prā́gnáye viśvá-śúce dhiyáṃdhe ’sura-ghné mánma dhītíṃ bharadhvam | bháre havír ná bárhiṣi prīṇānó vaiśvānaráya yátaye matīnā́m ||

Translation

Bringt hervor den Gedanken für Agni, den Allreinen, den Töter der feindlichen Mächte; bringt das inspirierte Wort und die schauende Einsicht. Wie eine Opfergabe, die auf dem heiligen Sitz (barhis) Genüge findet, wirkt er für Vaiśvānara, den Lenker unserer Gedanken.
