Sukta 10.13
पञ्च पदानि रुपो अन्वरोहं चतुष्पदीमन्वेमि व्रतेन । अक्षरेण प्रति मिम एतामृतस्य नाभावधि सं पुनामि ॥
páñca padā́ni rupó ánv arohāṃ cátuṣpadīm ánv émi vraténa | akṣáreṇa práti mime etā́m ṛtásya nā́bhāv ádhi sáṃ punāmi ||
In fünf Schritten steige ich der Gestalt nach; dem vierfüßigen Maß folge ich nach dem Gelübde, nach dem rechten Wirken. Mit der unvergänglichen Silbe messe ich es zurück; am Nabel des ṛta läutere und sammle ich es — damit Rede und Sein auf das Wahrheitszentrum eingestimmt seien.
