पञ्च पदानि रुपो अन्वरोहं चतुष्पदीमन्वेमि व्रतेन । अक्षरेण प्रति मिम एतामृतस्य नाभावधि सं पुनामि ॥
Transliteration
páñca padā́ni rupó ánv arohāṃ cátuṣpadīm ánv émi vraténa | akṣáreṇa práti mime etā́m ṛtásya nā́bhāv ádhi sáṃ punāmi ||
Translation
रूपाच्या मागोमाग त्याच्या पाच पादांवर मी आरोहण करतो; ऋताच्या व्रताने मी चतुष्पदी मापाचा अनुगमन करतो. अक्षर (अविनाशी ध्वनी) याने मी हिला प्रत्यावर्तित मोजतो; ऋताच्या नाभीवर मी हिला शुद्ध करून एकवटतो.
