Sukta 7.52
मित्रस्तन्नो वरुणो मामहन्त शर्म तोकाय तनयाय गोपाः । मा वो भुजेमान्यजातमेनो मा तत्कर्म वसवो यच्चयध्वे ॥
mitrás tán no váruṇo māmahanta śárma tokā́ya tánayāya gopā́ḥ | mā́ vo bhujemā́nyajātam éno mā́ tát karma vásavo yác cáyadhve ||
ขอมิตร–วรุณะ (Mitra–Varuṇa) จงเพิ่มพูนที่พึ่งอันใหญ่หลวงแก่เรา—เป็นผู้พิทักษ์บุตรน้อยและเชื้อสายของเรา. ขออย่าให้เราต้องรับทุกข์เพราะบาปที่เกิดจากผู้อื่น; และโอ้วสุทั้งหลาย (Vasu) ขออย่าผูกมัดการกระทำนั้น—ผลที่ท่านสั่งสมไว้—ไว้กับเราเลย.
