Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Bo my, choć bez innych oparć, trzymamy się ciebie jako jednego pełnego prawdziwych więzów; o Indro, my wieszcze trzymamy się ciebie. O Byku siły, przybądź ze wszystkimi twymi stacjami i mocami, do picia Somy, wejdź całym swym istnieniem w naszą ofiarę i nasz wzniosły stan.
