अग्ने स्तोमं जुषस्व मे वर्धस्वानेन मन्मना । प्रति सूक्तानि हर्य नः ॥
Transliteration
agné stómaṁ juṣasva me várdhasvānéna mánmanā | práti sū́ktāni harya naḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, എന്റെ സ്തോമം (സ്തുതി) സ്വീകരിച്ചു രസിച്ചു ഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ; എന്റെ ഈ മന്മ (രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ ചിന്ത)കൊണ്ട് നീ വർദ്ധിക്കണമേ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ സുക്തങ്ങൾ (സുവചനങ്ങൾ) നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു, അവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കണമേ.
