हन्ता वृत्रं दक्षिणेनेन्द्रः पुरू पुरुहूतः । महान्महीभिः शचीभिः ॥
Transliteration
hántā vṛtráṃ dakṣiṇénéndraḥ purū́ puru-hūtáḥ | mahā́n mahī́bʰiḥ śácībʰiḥ ||
Translation
പുരൂഹൂതനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ വലങ്കൈയുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ വൃത്രനെ സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; മഹത്തായ ശചികൾ (പ്രഭാവശാലിയായ ശക്തികൾ) കൊണ്ടു അവൻ മഹാനാണ്—അവയാൽ മറയ്ക്കുന്നവന്റെ മേൽ ഋത (സത്യ-ക്രമം)യുടെ വിജയം സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നു.
