उत स्वया तन्वा सं वदे तत्कदा न्वन्तर्वरुणे भुवानि । किं मे हव्यमहृणानो जुषेत कदा मृळीकं सुमना अभि ख्यम् ॥
utá sváyā tanvā́ sáṃ vade tát kadā́ nv àntar váruṇe bhuvāni | kíṃ me havyám áhṛṇāno juṣeta kadā́ mṛḷīkáṃ su-mánā abhí khyam ||
എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ തന്നെ തനുവോടെ ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് സംവദിക്കുന്നു: ഹേ വരുണ, എപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അന്തരത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കും? എന്റെ ഏത് ഹവ്യ-അർപ്പണം നീ അസന്തോഷമില്ലാതെ സ്വീകരിക്കും? എപ്പോൾ, സുമനസ്സോടെ, നിന്റെ മൃളീകം—കരുണയും ചികിത്സക മോചനവും—ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അഭിഖ്യ ചെയ്യും?
