धीरा त्वस्य महिना जनूंषि वि यस्तस्तम्भ रोदसी चिदुर्वी । प्र नाकमृष्वं नुनुदे बृहन्तं द्विता नक्षत्रं पप्रथच्च भूम ॥
dhīrā́ tv asya mahinā́ janū́ṃṣi ví yas tastámbha ródasī cid urvī́ | prá nā́kam ṛṣváṃ nunude bṛhántam dvitā́ nákṣatraṃ papráthat ca bhū́ma ||
തസ്യ മഹിനാ ധീരാഃ ജനൂംഷി വി—ആ ഏകന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ ധീര (സ്ഥിര) ദർശനശക്തികൾ ഉണരുന്നു; യഃ ഉർവീ രോദസീ ചിത് തസ്തംഭ—വിശാലമായ രണ്ടു ലോകങ്ങളെയും ഉറപ്പിച്ചവൻ. സ ബൃഹന്തം ഋഷ്വം നാകം പ്ര നുനുദേ—ഉന്നതവും വിശാലവുമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തെ മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളിപ്പുറത്താക്കി; ദ്വിതാ നക്ഷത്രം പപ്രഥത് ച ഭൂമ—നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ ദ്വി-ആസനം വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചു ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം വിരിച്ചു—ഋതത്തിന്റെ ക്രമബദ്ധമായ വൈശാല്യം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു, അവിടെ ചേതന വളരുന്നു.
