न्यक्रतून्ग्रथिनो मृध्रवाचः पणीँरश्रद्धाँ अवृधाँ अयज्ञान् । प्रप्र तान्दस्यूँरग्निर्विवाय पूर्वश्चकारापराँ अयज्यून् ॥
ny àkratūn grathíno mṛdhrávācaḥ paṇī́m̐r aśraddhā́m̐ avṛdhā́m̐ ayajñā́n | prá-prá tā́n dasyū́n agnír vivāya pū́rvaś cakārā́parāṁ áyajyūn ||
അക്രതൂൻ (ഇച്ഛാശക്തിയില്ലാത്തവർ), ഗ്രഥിനഃ (കെട്ടുപെട്ടവർ), മൃധ്രവാചഃ (വക്രവചനികൾ)—അശ്രദ്ധാൻ, അവൃധാൻ, അയ്യജ്ഞാൻ ആയ പണീൻമാരെ അഗ്നി താഴ്ത്തി അകറ്റി ഓടിക്കുന്നു. മുന്നോട്ട്, നിരന്തരം മുന്നോട്ട്, അവൻ ദസ്യൂന്മാരെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു; മുൻപുള്ള ശക്തികളെ ആദ്യം സ്ഥാപിച്ച്, പിന്നിലുള്ള—അയജ്യുൻ (അർപ്പണം ചെയ്യാത്തവർ)—നെ പിന്നിലേക്ക് തള്ളുന്നു.
