Sukta 4.21
एवा वस्व इन्द्रः सत्यः सम्राड्ढन्ता वृत्रं वरिवः पूरवे कः । पुरुष्टुत क्रत्वा नः शग्धि रायो भक्षीय तेऽवसो दैव्यस्य ॥
evā́ vásva índraḥ satyáḥ samrā́ḍ dhántā vṛtráṃ vári-vaḥ pūráve karitikaḥ | puru-stuta krátvā naḥ śágdhi rāyó bhakṣīyá té ’vaso daívyasya ||
ഇങ്ങനെ, ഹേ വസു ഇന്ദ്രാ—സത്യൻ, സമ്രാട്, വൃത്രഹന്താവ്, പൂരുവിന്നായി വിശാലാവകാശം ഒരുക്കുന്നവൻ—ഹേ പുരുഷ്ടുത, നിന്റെ ക്രതു (ഇച്ഛാശക്തി/യോജനാശക്തി)കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ ദൈവ്യ അവസ് (രക്ഷ)യും റായ (സമൃദ്ധി/പൂർണ്ണത)യും അനുഭവിക്കുവാൻ.
