Sukta 2.24
विश्वं सत्यं मघवाना युवोरिदापश्चन प्र मिनन्ति व्रतं वाम् । अच्छेन्द्राब्रह्मणस्पती हविर्नोऽन्नं युजेव वाजिना जिगातम् ॥
víśvaṃ satyáṃ maghavānā yuvór íd ā́paś caná prá mínanti vratáṃ vām | ácchendrā-brahmaṇaspatī havír no ’nnaṃ yújā iva vā́jinā jigātam ||
ഹേ മഘവാനൗ, ഇന്ദ്രനും ബ്രഹ്മണസ്പതിയും — നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്രതം (നിയതകർമ്മം/വിധി) സർവ്വഥാ സത്യമാണ്; ആപഃ (ജലങ്ങൾ) പോലും നിങ്ങളുടെ നിയുക്ത പ്രവർത്തിയെ ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല. ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ-ബ്രഹ്മണസ്പതീ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹവിഃ (ആഹുതി)യും അന്നം (പോഷകാഹാരം)യും കൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരുവിൻ — സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ രഥത്തിൽ യോജിപ്പിച്ച രണ്ടു ശക്തിയുള്ള അശ്വങ്ങൾപോലെ.
