Sukta 10.2
यद्वो वयं प्रमिनाम व्रतानि विदुषां देवा अविदुष्टरासः । अग्निष्टद्विश्वमा पृणाति विद्वान्येभिर्देवाँ ऋतुभिः कल्पयाति ॥
yád vo vayáṁ pra-minā́ma vratā́ni vidúṣāṁ devā́ aviduḥ-tarāsaḥ | agníṣ tád víśvam ā́ pṛṇāti vidvā́nyébhir devā́ṁ ṛtúbhiḥ kálpayāti ||
ഹേ ദേവന്മാരേ, അറിയുന്നവരെക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ അജ്ഞാനികളായ ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്രതങ്ങൾ (നിയമങ്ങൾ) കുറച്ചാൽ, ജ്ഞാനിയായ അഗ്നി അതെല്ലാം പൂരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഋതുക്കൾ—ഋതത്തിന്റെ യഥാക്രമങ്ങൾ—കൊണ്ട് അവൻ ദേവന്മാരെ അവരുടെ യോജ്യസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
