महिकेरव ऊतये प्रियमेधा अहूषत । राजन्तमध्वराणामग्निं शुक्रेण शोचिषा ॥
Transliteration
mahíkerava ūtáye priyámedhā ahūṣata | rā́jantam adhvarā́ṇām agníṃ śukréṇa śóciṣā ||
Translation
മഹാശബ്ദമുള്ള പ്രിയമേധർ സഹായത്തിനായി അവനെ ആഹ്വാനിച്ചു—അധ്വരങ്ങളുടെ (യജ്ഞങ്ങളുടെ) രാജാവായ അഗ്നിയെ, ശുദ്ധവും ദീപ്തവുമായ ജ്വാലകൊണ്ട് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നവനെ. ആ അധിപതി അഗ്നി നമ്മുടെ അന്തർ അധ്വരത്തെ ഭരിക്കട്ടെ; അതിനെ ദീപ്തപരിപൂർണ്ണതയിലേക്കു നയിക്കട്ടെ.
