विश्वानि भद्रा मरुतो रथेषु वो मिथस्पृध्येव तविषाण्याहिता । अंसेष्वा वः प्रपथेषु खादयोऽक्षो वश्चक्रा समया वि वावृते ॥
viśvāni bhadrā maruto ratheṣu vo mithaspṛdhyāiva taviṣāṇy āhitā | aṃseṣvā vaḥ pra-patheṣu khādayo 'kṣo vaś cakrā samayā vi vavṛte ||
ഹേ മരുതുകളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥങ്ങളിൽ സർവ്വ ഭദ്രശക്തികളും സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്—പരസ്പര ബലസ്പർധയെന്നപോലെ തവിഷാ (പ്രചണ്ഡത) അവിടെ നിക്ഷിപ്തമാണ്. മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പഥങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ അംശങ്ങളിൽ (തോളുകളിൽ) ഖാദയഃ (കടി പിടിക്കുന്ന ധാരകൾ) ഉണ്ട്; നിങ്ങളുടെ അക്ഷവും ചക്രങ്ങളും ഒരേ സമയത്ത്, യഥാലയം, ഒരുമിച്ച് ഉരുളുന്നു.
