एवेदेते प्रति मा रोचमाना अनेद्यः श्रव एषो दधानाः । संचक्ष्या मरुतश्चन्द्रवर्णा अच्छान्त मे छदयाथा च नूनम् ॥
evéd eté práti mā rócamānā anédyaḥ śráva eṣó dádhānāḥ | saṁ-cákṣyā marutaś cándra-varṇā ácchānta me chadáyāthā ca nūnám ||
ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ഇവർ (മരുതുകൾ) എനിക്കു നേരെ പ്രകാശിച്ച്, കളങ്കമില്ലാത്ത ശ്രവസ് (യശസ്)യും ഈ പ്രേരണയും ധരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ ചന്ദ്രവർണ്ണ മരുതുകളേ, ഒരുമിച്ച് എന്നെ നോക്കി നിങ്ങൾ അടുത്തുവന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ മൂടുന്നു—രക്ഷിച്ച്, ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റി.
