उपस्थायं चरति यत्समारत सद्यो जातस्तत्सार युज्येभिः । अभि श्वान्तं मृशते नान्द्ये मुदे यदीं गच्छन्त्युशतीरपिष्ठितम् ॥
upa-sthā́yaṃ carati yát sam-ā́rat sadyó jātás tat-sā́ra yújyebhiḥ | abhí śvā́ntaṃ mṛśate nā́ndye mudé yad ī́ṃ gácchanty uśatī́r api-sthitám ||
മാനവാസനത്തിന്റെ അകത്ത് തന്നെ അടുത്തായി നിലകൊണ്ട് അവൻ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു, എല്ലാം ശരിയായ ക്രമത്തിൽ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ; പുതുതായി ജനിച്ചവൻ തന്റെ യുജ്യശക്തികളോടെ ഓടുന്നു. ആനന്ദത്തിലും ഹർഷത്തിലും ആഗ്രഹശക്തികൾ അവനെ സ്പർശിക്കുന്നു, അടുത്തായി സ്ഥാപിതനായ, വിശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാലപോലെ ഉള്ള അവനിലേക്കു അവർ പോകുമ്പോൾ.
