तमिद्गच्छन्ति जुह्वस्तमर्वतीर्विश्वान्येकः शृणवद्वचांसि मे । पुरुप्रैषस्ततुरिर्यज्ञसाधनोऽच्छिद्रोतिः शिशुरादत्त सं रभः ॥
tám íd gácchanti juhváḥ tám arvatī́r víśvāny ékaḥ śṛṇavád vácāṃsi me | puru-praíṣas táturir yajñá-sādhanó 'cchidrótiḥ śíśur ā́datta sáṃ rábhaḥ ||
അവനിലേക്കാണ് ഹവിസ്സർപ്പിക്കുന്ന കൈകൾ പോകുന്നത്; അവനിലേക്കാണ് വേഗഗതിയുള്ള ശക്തികളും. എന്റെ എല്ലാ വചനങ്ങളും കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ അവൻ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം. അനേകം പ്രേരണകളുള്ള, ബലവാൻ ജയകൻ, യജ്ഞസാധകൻ, അച്ഛിദ്രമായ സഹായമുള്ളവൻ—അഗ്നിയുടെ ഈ ശിശു ദൃഢമായി പിടിച്ചു ശക്തികളെ ഒന്നാക്കി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുന്നു.
