Sukta 1.103
तदिन्द्र प्रेव वीर्यं चकर्थ यत्ससन्तं वज्रेणाबोधयोऽहिम् । अनु त्वा पत्नीर्हृषितं वयश्च विश्वे देवासो अमदन्ननु त्वा ॥
tád indra préva vīryàṃ cakartha yát sasántaṃ vájreṇā́bodhayo ’hím | ánu tvā pátnīr hṛṣitáṃ váyaś ca víśve devā́so amadan ánu tvā ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഇതു നിശ്ചയമായും നിന്റെ വീര്യകൃത്യം—വജ്രത്താൽ നിദ്രിച്ചിരുന്ന അഹി (സർപ്പം)യെ നീ ഉണർത്തിയപ്പോൾ. നിന്റെ അനുഗമനത്തിൽ പത്നിമാരും ഹർഷിതമായ പ്രാണശക്തികളും പിന്തുടർന്നു; സർവ്വദേവന്മാരും നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ അനുഗമിച്ച് ആനന്ദിച്ചു.
