Sukta 17

न वि॑क॒र्णः पृ॒थुशि॑रा॒स्तस्मि॒न् वेश्म॑नि जायते । यस्मि॑न् रा॒ष्ट्रे नि॑रु॒ध्यते॑ ब्रह्मजा॒याचि॑त्त्या

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 5.17.13

ná vikárṇaḥ pṛthúśirās tásmin véśmani jāyate | yásmin rāṣṭré nirudhyáte brahmajāyā́cittyā ||

No split-eared, broad-headed birth is born within that house, in that realm wherein one is held in check for intent toward the Brahman’s wife.

ബ്രാഹ്മണന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുള്ള ദുഷ്‌ചിന്ത/കാമനയുടെ കുറ്റം നിമിത്തം ഒരാളെ തടഞ്ഞുവെക്കുന്ന ആ രാജ്യത്തിലെ ആ വീട്ടിൽ, പിളർന്ന കാതുള്ളതും വിശാലശിരസ്സുള്ളതുമായ ദോഷജന്മം ഒരിക്കലും ജനിക്കുകയില്ല.
