यत् प्रेषि॑ता॒ वरु॑णे॒नाच्छीभं॑ स॒मव॑ल्गत । तदा॑प्नो॒दिन्द्रो॑ वो य॒तीस्तस्मा॑दापो॒ अनु॑ ष्ठन

IAST Transliteration

yát preṣitā́ váruṇenā́cchībhaṁ samávālgata | tád ā́pnód índro vo yatī́s tásmād ā́po ánu sṭhan

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

When, urged forth by Varuṇa, ye sprang together toward the clear goal, then Indra won you—ye that press onward. Therefore, O Waters, follow on and take your station.

Translation

വരുൺ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ തെളിഞ്ഞ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലേക്ക് ഒരുമിച്ച് പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നപ്പോൾ, മുന്നോട്ടു തള്ളിപ്പോകുന്ന നിങ്ങളെ ഇന്ദ്രൻ ജയിച്ചു സ്വന്തമാക്കി. അതിനാൽ, ഹേ ആപഃ (ജലങ്ങളേ), പിന്തുടർന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിലകൊള്ളുവിൻ.
