Varāha (default attribution; speaker not explicit in fragment)
It preserves a Purāṇic template of domestic/public observance: concluding a vrata/fast, feeding learned recipients, and formal worship—useful for reconstructing medieval ritual culture and its ethical emphasis on hospitality.
No specific place-name appears in this verse; it is procedural (vrata-vidhi) rather than a tīrtha/geography reference.
The verse foregrounds devotional intentionality and social generosity—feeding others (here, brāhmaṇas) alongside worship—presented as an integral component of the observance.
