अस्तावि मन्म पूर्व्यं ब्रह्मेन्द्राय वोचत । पूर्वीॠतस्य बृहतीरनूषत स्तोतुर्मेधा असृक्षत ॥
Transliteration
ástāvi mánma pū́rvyaṃ bráhmendrāya vocata | pū́rvīr ṛtásya br̥hatī́r anūṣata stotúr medhā́ asr̥kṣata ||
Translation
古の霊感の思いは歌い起こされ、聖なる言葉はインドラに向けて語られた。ṛta（リタ）の広大なる発声は鳴りひびき、讃える者の知慧の力は解き放たれて、その流れへと注がれた。
