विप्रं होतारमद्रुहं धूमकेतुं विभावसुम् । यज्ञानां केतुमीमहे ॥
Transliteration
vípraṁ hótāram adrúhaṁ dhūmakétuṁ vibhā́vasum | yajñā́nāṁ kétum īmahe ||
Translation
われらはアグニ（Agni）を求める――霊感ある祭官・招請者、欺かぬ者、煙を旗印とし、広く光り輝く者。彼こそはわれらの祭祀の徴（しるし）、導きの炬火である。
