समिद्धे अग्नौ सुत इन्द्र सोम आ त्वा वहन्तु हरयो वहिष्ठाः । त्वायता मनसा जोहवीमीन्द्रा याहि सुविताय महे नः ॥

sámiddhe agnáu sutá índra sóma ā́ tvā vahantu háryo váhiṣṭhāḥ | tvāyatā mánasā johavī́mī́ndra ā́ yāhi suvitā́ya mahé naḥ ||

アグニ(Agni)が燃え立ち、ソーマ(Soma)が搾られるとき、インドラ(Indra)よ、最もよく運ぶ栗毛の駿馬たちが汝をここへ運び来たらせよ。汝にのみ向けた心もてわれは呼び招く。インドラよ、われらの大いなる善き道行きと勝利の前進のために来たれ。
