अञ्जन्ति त्वामध्वरे देवयन्तो वनस्पते मधुना दैव्येन । यदूर्ध्वस्तिष्ठा द्रविणेह धत्ताद्यद्वा क्षयो मातुरस्या उपस्थे ॥
Transliteration
añjanti tvām adhvaré deva-yánto vánaspate mádhunā daivyéna | yád ūrdhvás tíṣṭhā dráviṇeha dhattā́t yád vā́ kṣáyo mātúr asyā́ upásthe ||
Translation
祭儀において、神を求める者たちは、木の主（Vanaspati）よ、天なる蜜（madhu）をもって汝に塗り注ぐ。汝が上にまっすぐ立つとき、ここに内なる財を据えよ。あるいは、この母（大地）の膝のうえに住まうときも、同じく獲得を確立せよ。
